StandWatch Trip: Day Seven

Today, me and my three roommates woke up at nine thirty, which was very helpful to get through the day. We then finished packing, and went downstairs to prepare to leave. As we were leaving, we all texted our parents to tell them the plan for the day. We then got in our cars for a drive to Colorado Mountains.

These mountains were very beautiful with plenty of high cliffs and low valleys. We were able to get out at an overlook and take pictures of the beautiful mountains. The pictures turned out very beautiful, although standing so close to the edge to take the pictures made me dizzy and was scary.

We then decided to take a big panorama with everyone in it. In this panorama we got the landscape in the background, but also made it look like we had a bigger group than we actually did. While Mr. Northup would pass us, we would quickly run behind him and move to the other end, so that we could all be in the picture twice.

After this, we went to Chic-fil-a to eat lunch, which was very good, as usual. Many of the kids decided to eat outside for the fact that it was very busy, although me and three other people ate inside. We then stopped to use the restroom before leaving for Wal-Mart to look for a bathing suit for Kathryn and Sophie.

After Wal-Mart, we went to target because neither of them could find bathing suits at Wal-Mart, because we were planning on going to the Hot Springs Pool, although we ended up just swimming at the hotel. Swimming at the pool was very fun and relaxing, and we all got to talk and get to know each other better.

After swimming, we ate pizza and a few of us got icecream. It was a very fun and relaxing day, I cannot wait to go white water rafting tomorrow!
