Everyone's Story is Unwritten

Produced by a partnership between StandWatch Academy and Marshall University’s School of Journalism, Unwritten is a sixty-minute documentary about a group of eight high school girls from a small town in West Virginia who take part in a program that teaches entrepreneurship as a pathway to a better life. Filmed over a six-month period in 2019, Unwritten follows the students as they travel across the country to see how starting their own businesses will not only change their future, but the future of their entire community. The theatrical premier took place on July 11th. If you are interested in a private screening or presentation to your school, send an email to zac@standwatch.org, and we’ll get you on the schedule.
